SYMPTOMS:
When running Surrogate Socket on a proxy server which also has Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition installed and running, the connections are extremely slow.
MORE INFORMATION:
Antivirus products from other vendors may exhibit the same behavior.
This issue is under investigation.
RESOLUTION:
Stop the Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition Service and set it to Manual Start using the Service applet from the Control Panel.
